Xu Ming is a veteran Yixing artist trained in the old fashioned way, working from the ground up. Solid technical skills foundation have always been best acquired that way. He attributes his art to the apprenticeship under legendary Yixing masters such as Wang Yan Xian and Xu Han Tang. Since 1990, Xu Ming’s works have won various prestigious awards and have been collected by national and metropolitan institutions.
