This Bamboo tea tray is used for traditional Chinese tea brewing (Gong Fu Brewing). The primary function of the tea tray is to serve as a basin for excess water from the tea brewing process. The Chinese character "Cha Dao", meaning the art of tea, is carved into the tray.
