Glass teapots with transparent glass and no ornamentation are especially appropriate to use when brewing a superb green tea or hand tied flowering teas. Glass teapots with infusers and ornamentation such as etching are good for any green, white or black tea. Oolong and puerh teas are better suited to an Yixing teapot. Glass teapots should never be used on the stove top.
