The ITMA Certified Tea Sommelier Course, for becoming an ITMA Certified Tea Sommelier™, starts on June 17th, immediately following the World Tea Expo.   The training is offered by the International Tea Masters Association, recognized throughout the world as the Gold Standard in tea education,

The ITMA Certified Tea Sommelier Coursebegins with the 2-Day ITMA Comprehensive Tea Sommelier Course held on-site at the Hilton Grand Vacations at the Flamingo Hotel on June 17th & 18th, from 9am to 5pm each day. The 8-Week ITMA Tea Sommelier Tasting Course starts the following week involving home study, tasting and evaluating 18 different teas, and periodic online conference sessions to share experiences and ask questions.  This will be followed by tasting and evaluating a Mystery Tea, a Report (oral or written) on a topic assigned by ITMA, and a Final Examination($95 Examination Fee).

ITMA Certified Tea Master Frankee MullerThe training will be led by ITMA Certified Tea Master™ Frankee Muller. She is a life-long tea aficionado and promises to make this an especially memorable, life-changing experience for everyone.

Accommodations are available at the Hilton Grand Vacations at the Flamingo Hotel. Single occupancy reduced room rate $169 per night. The 2-Day ITMA  Comprehensive Tea Sommelier Coursewill be held in a meeting room at the hotel, which accommodates up to 10 registrants. Seating is limited.

The training contains all the educational requirements an individual needs for achieving the association’s prestigious ITMA Certified Tea Sommelier designation once the program, blind tea tasting, dissertation, and final examination are successfully completed.

Registrants will experience some of the most exquisite and often rarest loose-leaf teas from around the world. The training will also include: Health Benefits of Tea and Valuable Guest Service Skills.

Tuition for the complete training program is $1,495 for association members ($1,225 for nonmembers). To register, post a $250 non-refundable tuition-deposit using at teamasters.org.  The tuition balance will be invoiced to registrants by e-mail  and must be paid by June 1, 2016.
